With a population of 941, Wolf Creek is a community nestled among a remote mountain range on the famous Rio Grande River in southern Colorado. The legendary Wolf Creek Ski Area is a major attraction here, known for having “the most snow in Colorado.” Another notable feature is the beautiful Wolf Creek Pass. This scenic highway runs through the San Juan Mountains connecting South Fork and Pagosa Springs.
The first phase of River Island Ranch had 55 parcels when first offered at th end of August 2006 and only 2 parcels remain. Phase 3 of River Island Ranch opened in April of 2007 with 44 parcels and 13 have sold to date. In October of 2007 we opened Phase 2 offering river front properties on the Rio Grande River and we only have 4 river front pieces left!
